Research fellow with empirica since 1992. - In Nov. 2002, she received an award for: „Telemedicine - Human Applications of IT in Medicine” (Integrata Foundation).

Current focus
Presently, she coordinates a project for the European Commission to improve semantic interoperability among Member State health systems (SemanticHEALTH - Semantic Interoperability Deployment and Research Roadmap) and is involved in a study on the economic impact of interoperable EHR and ePrescription solutions (EHR-IMPACT), and in longer-term eHealth RTD studies - economic issues and business case development of patient data mining application to improve clinical use of antibiotics (DebugIT) as well as of Virtual Physiological Human (VPH) simulation application for osteoporosis diagnosis and treatment (VPHOP).
